Working with SQS
As an SQS testing consultant you will have the opportunity to work on a range of high profile projects in the Finance, Banking, Retail, Telecommunications, Insurance and Energy sectors, and will be encouraged to build upon your business, technical and product skills.

Positions are based throughout the UK and Ireland, but applicants should be willing to travel and work from various client sites.

We are also open to graduates looking to relocate from Ireland or elsewhere, including graduates from South Africa, Australia and New Zealand with eligible ancestry visas.

August Graduate Intake
SQS are currently recruiting for strong IT graduates to join SQS on our graduate training programme in South Africa. On offer is a 3 week expenses-paid training program in Durban where we will provide you with full training including a ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing, an introduction to Automated Test Tools and Test Management using QualityCentre as well as an opportunity to see a part of the world you may not have otherwise visited.

Upon your return to the UK, SQS will provide you with a structured career path, continuous training, exposure to a wide variety of systems, industries and world class clients and a chance to work across the UK and Ireland. If successful, you would begin at SQS as a permanent full time testing consultant – this is not an internship or short-term contract.

Our Graduate Assessment Day will be held in late June, with the program commencing in early August. If you are not yet available for the August 2012 graduate program, please be aware that we do have one more graduate intake this year in September, with the Assessment Day held at the end of July.

Please note that this year we are offering a £1,000 golden handshake to successful applicants, upon completion of the training program in South Africa.

Skills Required:

• 2.1 or above gained in the last two years in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
• Practical experience with programming languages C, C++, Visual Basic, Java or .Net
• A good understanding of databases
• A genuine interest in quality assurance, and establishing good relationships with clients
