Triton Showers has recruited five new graduates onto its Graduate Programme, it has been revealed.
The new recruits can now use their specialist skills to the full as they take posts across the company's finance, marketing, customer service, purchasing and IT departments.
Lorna Fellowes, managing director of Triton, said: "Getting that important first job has been made even more difficult by the current economic climate, even for the most gifted of graduates."
Saying that the company had been delighted by the response it received to the Graduate Programme, she added that "the final decision was a difficult one due to the sheer amount of excellent potential shown by applicants".
The Nuneaton-based shower manufacturer launched the Commercial Graduate Programme in an attempt "to get new and additional talent into the business to ensure strong management for the future".
Ms Fellowes added: "We have now had 13 new employees start with Triton. This is in anticipation of a continuous upturn in the business and to prepare us for an improvement in the economy."
The five selected graduates were among the 20 shortlisted candidates who attended an intensive full-day of interviews in August.
