Graduates on the lookout for fresh jobs have been alerted to the news that insurer LV has announced vacancies for 160 jobs.
The majority of the positions are in the company's claims departments, although other departments recruiting are sales, customer services and technical management.
The new positions will be based in offices in Leeds, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Croydon, Bristol and Basildon.
John O'Roarke, managing director of LV's general insurance business, said: "LV is going through a period of significant growth so it's a great time to join us. Our general insurance sales and claims areas are expanding and we are looking for people with experience in these fields but also for individuals who are looking to move into insurance from other careers.
"When many other financial companies are making cut-backs we are growing steadily so this means that in addition to new roles, we are also creating career development and promotion prospects."
