Deliotte has employed 30 new graduates to its Leeds office and plans to recruit 1,100 more over the next year.
The leading accountancy and business advisory company has kept its graduate programme running at the same levels as before the recession, despite the tough financial climate.
Graduates from all disciplines are entertained for the programme, which offers candidates the chance to obtain professional qualifications, according to Geoff Taylor, senior partner at Deliotte in Leeds.
He said the main criteria they look for in candidates are strong determination, a well-rounded skill set and an accomplished academic background.
Mr Taylor described it as "essential" for the business to nurture fresh talent to maintain the company's high standards in the future.
He said: "My advice for students is, do not wait until the world tells you the graduate market is picking up, in fact things aren't as bad as they have been made out to be. There are still great opportunities for bright graduates to develop their potential with some of the UK's leading firms."
