Cambuslang-based energy company PV Solar UK plans to recruit 10 graduates in the coming year following the opening of the first solar photovoltaic (PV) training academy in Scotland.
The new facility at PV Solar UK's Cambuslang headquarters was built as part of the company's £75,000-plus investment in staff training.
The PV systems installer announced its graduate recruitment plans when it was visited by energy, enterprise and tourism minister Fergus Ewing, MSP.
The firm, which has an over-£1 million weekly turnover, currently has a workforce of 150 employees across the UK, of which nearly 65 are working at its Cambuslang headquarters.
PV Solar UK has recruited 12 graduates in the past six months.
