Graduates can expect more job opportunities after an independent supermarket chain announced the opening of its new store.
North West grocer Booths will create around 100 jobs in Cumbria with the launch of its 28th store in Penrith next week. The new store is the Preston-based retailer's sixth in Cumbria.
Chairman Edwin Booth is set to officially open the 20,000 sq ft Brunswick Road store.
Mr Booth said: "Our regional roots and relatively small size mean we can forge close relationships with our farmers and producers.
"We are really committed to serving our customers with fine quality food and groceries. It's really important to us that our stores are interesting and exciting places for shoppers to visit and I think that we have achieved that here in Penrith."
