Change Grow Live are looking for an Assistant Business Development Officer to join our national Business Development Team.

You might be a recent graduate or a professional with a background in health and social care, but your strong writing skills, eye for accuracy, and interest in research are the key things you will bring to this role.

Change Grow Live is one of the UK’s largest charities. We provide a range of services including community and prison substance misuse, criminal justice, children and young people’s and housing/homelessness.

This role

As an Assistant Business Development Officer, you will support the Business Development Team to prepare for, develop and write high-quality tenders.

You’ll meet people who work across Change Grow Live and collaborate with them to produce tenders and proposals that clearly demonstrate the positive impact that our services have on people’s lives.

You will support our successful and growing Business Development Team to improve the quality of our work and develop our team culture by thinking creatively and challenging existing ways of working.

You’ll support the team by producing visuals, preparing presentations, conducting research, and more.

This role is designed to support you through the beginning of your business development career, and we will provide you with structured support and training to develop and progress.

About you

You can write clearly and concisely, and you have a desire to continuously improve your writing through constructive feedback from your colleagues.

You are genuinely interested to learn more about the people we work with and the services we provide.

You are confident handling a variety of data and you can clearly communicate your interpretations of data to a range of people.

You want to progress, and you are willing to invest your time and energy into making this happen.

You are more than comfortable with IT and technology, and you are excited to discover new ways of applying these technologies. You want to share this enthusiasm with others.  

Above all, you want to use your skills and experience to develop and write winning tenders for services that help people to make positive changes in their lives.
