Business Development Executive Package:

  • A competitive basic salary of £22,500
  • Y1 OTE of up to £31,500

Business Development Executive Role:

  • Obtain a thorough knowledge of the company offering and the market it operates within, in order to have valuable conversations with prospects
  • Work within the sales process to proactively research and attract new clients
  • Perform regular outreach to communicate with potential customers, often nurturing them with several conversations before they are won as clients
  • Work closely with the Marketing team regarding the output of lead generation, and taking inbound marketing leads and converting them into opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with both existing and new clients, seeking upsell opportunities where possible

Business Development Executive Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A scientific back is advantageous (but not essential!)
  • Willingness to learn new skills and the company systems
  • Willing to travel on occasion for business
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
