DCC Graduate Programme

DCC is always changing and progressing, and we need graduates that can help us do that effectively. Our programme involves two 12-month placements across a range of operational, commercial and transformational opportunities, enabling you to gain exposure to our business, and the sectors in which we operate. On each placement, you’ll work on transformational projects, contributing to our businesses’ success. These could be in teams such as:

• Business Development
• Business Support Functions
• Commercial
• IT & Digital
• Operations

During your first placement, our Graduate Recruitment team will collaborate with you to understand the future you see for yourself, align this with business needs and assign your next rotation. There could be a career down a path you’d never considered before, and we’ll help you see that and build your future together.

What we look for

We operate internationally – and you need to be able to do the same, with the unrestricted right to work in the UK and/or the European Economic Area (EEA). We don’t mind what degree subject you studied – what’s important is that you have a 2:1 or equivalent, and a passion for using technology to influence change. We’re interested in seeing key skills and qualities in our graduates, such as:

What we offer

During the programme, you will develop a successful career, supported by new skills and experiences that are key to the change occurring in our business. You’ll gain knowledge in Project Management, Stakeholder Management, Commercial and Customer Focus, and more through classroom and on-the-job training. We’ll also fund, and encourage, you to earn a professional qualification to further support your personal development. Throughout the programme, you’ll receive support from your Line Manager, a dedicated Coach, a Graduate Buddy, your Graduate Business Contact and the DCC Graduate Programme Team.

Upon completion of the Graduate Programme, you’ll be in the position to steer your career with a range of potential roles across DCC as a future leader.
