Trainee Merchandiser - Next
If you're looking for a career where you can use your strong analytical skills and eye for product then this is the role for you.
About the team
Working alongside your buying, technology and design colleagues, you will support the merchandising team from analysing sales to ordering stock from suppliers all over the world.
What’s Merchandising at Next?
Not to be confused with visual merchandising, merchandising involves analysing sales, ordering stock from suppliers and making sure it arrives on time in our stores and for our online customers.
Being a Trainee Merchandiser forms part of the product teams, you’ll be working closely with the Buying, Design and Technology teams. While the Merchandising teams provide an analytical insight, you won’t just be number crunching, but working very closely with product. So yes, we want people who have a passion for all things analytical, but also those who have an interest in fashion or homeware too.
We’ll make sure you have support not only from the business but your teams too. You’ll have a personal training development programme that will help you grow and progress throughout the trainee scheme. As you progress, so do we. It is down to the set up we have in place that the vast majority of our Trainees earn their first promotion well within the first 18 months.
We get the importance of working in a fun and creative space! We want you to feel happy and valued. That’s why we invest so much time, money and resources in our Head Office teams and campus.
