Our Reinsurance business consists of property catastrophe reinsurance, other property reinsurance, casualty reinsurance and specialty reinsurance. In order to deliver this highly skilled and tailored service to our clients we look for talented people in all areas of our business, from our underwriting teams to corporate functions which support the business.

Life at Aspen is fast-paced and challenging but above all we treasure and actively foster an environment of integrity, mutual respect and trust. This is protected and promoted by the Aspen Spirit, a set of standards and values that we all share. In return, those accepted onto the Aspen Graduate Program are expected to be self-starters, take responsibility for their own career progression, and be flexible in their approach and creative in their thinking. Being grounded, with a sense of humour is also crucial to us.

The Aspen Graduate Program develops the next generation of diverse leaders, innovators, and progressive professionals. Every year we take on a number of graduates into different streams including Underwriting, Actuarial & Capital Modelling, Business Transformation, Compliance, Internal Audit and Finance. Our next Graduate Program will begin in September 2018 and will run for two years, during which our graduates will receive professional training and development opportunities, be fully sponsored and supported through their professional qualifications, provided with an enviable support network, and receive a competitive starting salary and benefits.

We are open-minded about the type of degree you have and are looking for graduates who are highly numerate and are on track to achieve a 2:1 (UK) or GPA 3.0 (US) or above. In the UK you will have good GCSE and A/AS Level grades (300 UCAS points).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to quickly build relationships are crucial for success, as our roles are business-facing from day one. We are looking for candidates who are self-starters and are able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
