We are a leading provider of public transport in the UK bus and rail service sectors, delivering over one billion passenger journeys each year. Almost two million journeys take place per day on our bus network – as well as being London’s largest bus operator, we own eight regional UK bus companies. Currently a FTSE250 company employing 29,000 people across the country, we’re also expanding our international bus and rail portfolio. It is an 18-month scheme which has three rotations over this time. The first is station management where I worked at two London terminals to run operations and people management. My current placement is crew management is in Ashford International where I manage the team of our on-board staff across the network. Lastly, I will work in a project related role.

I began my scheme with frontline operational experience in bus driving, service control and service delivery. This enabled me to later step into the role of Route Manager where I lead a team of professional drivers and was accountable for the service performance of a select group of bus routes.
